RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY

Licensed Adolescent Mental Health Residential Program

The Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) service is a trauma-informed and healing-centered level of care designed for adolescents who are experiencing complex and severe emotional and behavioral disturbances that cannot be effectively treated in the community setting. Our program is grounded in the principles of safety, trustworthiness, empowerment, collaboration, and cultural responsiveness. A treatment team, including the adolescent and their family members/natural supports, collaborates to develop goals that support independent living, healthy relationships, and healthy coping and emotional regulation within a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.

What We Do:

We take a family-centered, trauma-informed approach that builds on evidence-based treatment models to support adolescents in developing the skills and resilience necessary to live fulfilling, independent lives. We believe that healing happens through relationships and environments grounded in trust, safety, and respect. Our program values and honors each adolescent, their family/natural supports, and the strengths they bring to treatment, enabling us to better meet individual needs. Staff receive ongoing training in trauma-informed practices to ensure care is delivered in ways that recognize the impact of trauma, promote empowerment and collaboration, seek to prevent further trauma and re-traumatization, and support growth through every aspect of the program.

How It Works:

A Residential Setting: 24 hour care and support to include coordination with education and family systems. (8 Single Occupancy Rooms)
Family Involvement: Family and caregiver support is involved in treatment, progress reviews and discharge planning.
Evidence-Based Treatment Models: Treatment planning and delivery is developed using evidence-based practices and models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
