Susan Blue Elected New Board Chair for the National Council for Behavioral Health
Mountville, Pa. (July 24, 2015) – Community Services Group (CSG) President and CEO, Susan Blue, has been elected as the new board chair for the National Council for Behavioral Health, succeeding Jeff Walter of the Connecticut Community Providers Association.
“I am honored by my election as the new chair of the National Council board of directors. It has been exciting to have served on the board during a time of profound change and opportunity for the National Council,” said Blue. “The National Council has truly become the unifying voice of America’s community mental health treatment organizations, and I look forward to working with a noteworthy group of new board members.”
Blue has also held leadership roles with the Pennsylvania Community Providers Association, the Community Behavioral Healthcare Network of Pennsylvania, and the Association for Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare.
The National Council of Behavioral Health board of directors is committed to diversity, leadership, and promoting excellence in mental health treatment. All board terms begin July 1, 2015.
