CSG CONTINUES COMMITMENT TO GOOD
In 2020, CSG was proud to share that we were recognized as a a Certified B Corporation (B Corp), reinforcing our objective of being a purpose-driven business, supporting a global economy that benefits all. We recently completed the assessment and verification process for the second time and have been certified as a B Corp for another three years. We believe that being a company for good isn’t just a one and done activity, and we’re excited to share that we’ve successfully been recertified as a B Corp and will continue to evolve our approach to making a positive impact.
Going beyond
For over 50 years, we have been serving individuals who are navigating their own mental health or IDD journeys, oftentimes while also dealing with significant life events and a complex system of care. We take our role in the lives of these individuals and the communities we serve very seriously and recognize the opportunity we have to make a positive difference, even beyond the work we do each day.
B Corp certification takes into account various factors such as how a company treats its employees, its community involvement, and its environmental practices. Re-certification is required every three years in order to maintain the B Corp status, and includes a thorough Impact Assessment that evaluates a company’s practices and outputs across five categories: governance, workers, community, the environment, and customers. In going through this process we are able to ensure our practices and operations are continually evolving and improving, and we are meeting the current standards and best practices.
Stewards for Change
In 2021 and 2022, we were honored to be named a Best for the World: Customers award winner, specifically in the Customer category. This category recognizes companies setting the standard for serving their customers, offering services that support the greater good, often focusing on underserved populations. Receiving this award was both validation and a reminder of what a privilege it is to do the meaningful work that we do within our community. We’re grateful that as a B Corp, we are able to make a positive impact at a global scale.
