Hope, Help & Healing: Supporting Suicide Prevention Throughout the Year

Each September, communities across the country come together to recognize Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, break down stigmas, and remind people that help is always available and hope is always possible.

At CSG, we know that starting the conversation about suicide can feel difficult, but more importantly, it can also save lives. Too often, individuals struggling with thoughts of suicide feel isolated or unsure of where to turn. Our message remains simple but powerful: You are not alone.

Talking openly about suicide helps to bring light to the issue and helps people feel less alone in their struggles. It also allows for access to the right care and support that makes healing possible.

If You are Struggling

If you or someone you love is experiencing thoughts of suicide, there are resources available to help you.

If you need immediate assistance, you can call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline right away. Then, we encourage you to reach out to CSG. We have a caring team and variety of services to help you take proactive steps toward improving your mental wellness, no matter where you are on your journey.

How You Can Help

Helping others often begins by starting a conversation. You can:

  1. Check in on friends, family, and coworkers.
  2. Listen without judgment and encourage open conversations about mental health.
  3. Advocate for accessible mental health services in your community.

Our Commitment, This Month and Beyond.

At CSG, we believe every life matters. Whether through outpatient therapy, community programs, or crisis support, we are here to walk alongside individuals on their journey toward hope and healing.

This Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and every month, let’s stand together to make sure no one struggles in silence.

💚 Help is here. Hope is real. You are not alone.
