Award Program Recognizes Women’s Extraordinary Contributions to the Central Pennsylvania Region
Mountville, Pa. (April 14, 2015) – Community Services Group (CSG) President, Susan Blue, has been recognized by the Central Penn Business Journal as a 2015 Woman of Influence for her contributions to mental health throughout the region.
The Women of Influence awards, created in 2010, are an effort to recognize female leaders who make significant impacts in their companies, industries and communities.
“It’s an honor to be recognized alongside so many successful and influential women,” said Blue. “I’m extremely proud of the work that Community Services Group has done as a team to fill an important need for mental health services in our community.”
In her tenure of more than 35 years, Blue has lead a remarkable expansion from one single group home to offering multiple service lines in 19 counties across the state. CSG currently employs nearly 1,800 human service professionals who work to provide quality, community-based mental health and intellectual and developmental disability services throughout central and northeastern Pennsylvania.
The 25 Women of Influence award recipients will be recognized for their outstanding leadership, integrity and accomplishments at an awards ceremony at the Hilton Harrisburg. The honorees will also be profiled in a special publication inserted in the June 19, 2015 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.
