Leanna Hassler, MA, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from Alvernia University with a Masters of the Arts degree in Clinical Counseling. Leanna has been providing mental health services since 2017 in community mental health settings. Leanna joined Community Services Group in 2018 as an outpatient therapist. She’s currently in the process of becoming certified in an evidenced-based treatment intervention called Parent-Child Interaction Therapy which focuses on improving parent-child relationships and decreasing disruptive behaviors. Leanna has experience working with families using an ecosystemic structural family therapy approach. Leanna works with all ages and mental health diagnoses but has a special interest in children, adolescents, and young adults. Upon request she can provide couples and family counseling. Leanna’s approach to therapy is client-centered and solution-focused, meaning that the client themselves is the expert and we work as a team to alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life. Cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness techniques are taught and incorporated into solutions for many of my clients.
