Genna Doran, MA, holds a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University. Genna has been with Community Services Group since 2020. Prior to working at CSG, she completed a clinical internship working at a licensed school-based partial program providing therapy to individuals and groups. Genna maintained a role as a Neurocognitive Specialist, providing group and individual cognitive rehabilitative therapy (CRT) to individuals with neurological diagnoses; Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), multiple sclerosis (MS), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Cerebral Palsy. During that same time period, Genna also provided Mobile Therapy and Behavioral Consultation to children and adolescents throughout Chester County. As a Mental Health Professional in the Family Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS) program, she utilized Eco-systemic family therapy with adolescents and families experiencing relational challenges. Genna worked with clients to develop individual treatment plans and assisted in facilitating change. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed counseling into her work with individuals. Genna also utilizes artistic/expressive modalities; art and play therapy. Genna has a special interest in working with the LGBTQI+population. She provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults.
