Chariots Out-Of-Home Care
CSG’s Chariots program offers varying levels of out-of-home care based on the quantity and intensity of services required to meet a child’s needs in a safe, nurturing environment. Children ranging from infants to age 21 are offered intensive and comprehensive care that meets their individual needs and provides support to the child, natural family, legal guardians, and provider family.
Support, Strength, Stability for Every Child
Our programs consist of Community Residential Rehabilitation – Host Home (CRR-HH), Individualized Foster Care (IFC), and Respite Services. Each level provides children an opportunity to realize their potential.
Community Residential Rehabilitation—Host Home (CRR-HH) is the most intensive level of care provided by Chariots. Designed for children with severe emotional or behavioral problems, this program provides intense, clinical, and cost effective treatment that is individualized to the needs of the child. Treatment includes a nurturing and therapeutic family environment and structured mental health services. CRR-HH is funded through managed care organizations.
Individualized Foster Care (IFC) involves children in the custody of Children and Youth services who may have medical, behavioral, and/or independent living skill needs. Children receive individualized services to meet their need for safety and permanency while learning how to increase pro-social behaviors and decrease negative behaviors through behavior modification techniques.
Respite Services provide temporary relief and rest for caregivers of children and adults who have mental health issues and/or an intellectual and developmental disability. Respite Services offer crucial support while making certain a loved one’s needs are met in a safe and caring environment. Services may be provided for a few hours, an overnight, or a weekend and are designed to meet each family or individual’s needs.
