Samuel Hunter, LSW

Samuel Hunter LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker providing outpatient therapy for Community Services Group since 2018. He received his BSW from Cairn University and his MSW from Marywood University. Sam has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. He has past experience working with the IDD population. Samuel also has a BS in Biblical Studies and offers Christian based therapy upon request or based on the individual’s identified preference.  He also provides short term counseling (EAP services).

Kristy Nutt, LCSW

Kristy Nutt, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social worker who began working at CSG in August, 2018 in both the Outpatient and Same Day Access programs.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Kent State University in 2004 and her Masters of Social Work from Ohio University in 2006.  After graduation she worked as a multi-systemic therapist (MST) for four years.  Following that position, Kristy worked at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio as a transplant social worker completing psychosocial assessments on transplant candidates.  During this time, she also worked PRN at Akron Children’s Hospital in the behavioral health emergency department completing psychological assessments for youth.  She has experience working with children, families, couples, adults and elderly. She has experience as well with inpatient and outpatient mental health and major medical illnesses.

Kristen Patryna, MS, NCC, LPC

Kristen Patryna, MS, NCC, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor that has been with Community Services Group since 2013.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lycoming College in 2004 and her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2012.   She has experience with a Therapeutic Community approach to treating substance abuse with incarcerated men, Applied Behavioral Analysis with children on the autism spectrum as well as group and individual therapy with adolescents.  Kristen joined CSG as a Family Based therapist providing family, parent and individual therapy both in the home and in the community.  She has been in the outpatient program since 2017 working with adults, adolescents and families as well as providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder.

Jessica Lawson, MS

Jessica Lawson, MS, is a Mental Health Professional who began working as an Outpatient therapist at Community Services Group in 2018.  Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Lycoming College in 2009 and her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2014.  Jessica has experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in home, school, and community settings through her work as a Behavioral Specialist Consultant, Therapeutic Staff Support, and Family-Based intern since 2010.

 

 

 

 

Alyssa Knauber, MS

Alyssa Knauber, MS is a Mental Health Professional who began working as an Outpatient therapist with Community Services Group in 2018.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Lock Haven University in 2014 and started working in the Partial Hospitalization Program at Community Services Group.  She then earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2018, and is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and has experience working with groups.

 

 

 

Robin Mansolino, CRNP

Robin Mansolino, CRNP is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who joined CSG in June 2018 to provide outpatient psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults.  Prior to joining CSG, Robin had 6 years of experience working in Behavioral Health Care.  Robin practiced as a Registered Nurse in a Chemical Dependence Psychiatric Unit as well as in a Mental Health Clinic providing inpatient and outpatient care.  Robin completed her medical education at Florida International University.  She has a combined experience of 9 years as a Clinical Psychiatric Instructor at City College and Florida Career College, both in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 

Tempo Clubhouse Celebrates 35 Years of Empowerment

On Thursday, September 27th, 2018 from 12 pm-2 pm Tempo Clubhouse (790 New Holland Ave, Lancaster, PA 17602) will celebrate its 35th Anniversary of supporting those recovering from mental health issues in the Lancaster community. This event will feature tours and refreshments presented by Clubhouse members and staff and is open to anyone in the community. The celebration will also include guest speakers of those who benefitted from the clubhouse and leaders from the area.

Tempo Clubhouse is a human services organization that seeks to give members of the club an opportunity to develop relationships, feel a sense of purpose, and build employment skills.  Clubhouse members consist of citizens in Lancaster County who our recovering from mental health issues.  Staff at the Clubhouse work side-by-side with members on meaningful wor k that allows the Clubhouse to function, and engage in job training and supported employment. Tempo Clubhouse has helped many people to find full or part time employment through partnerships with local businesses, such as Mr. Sticky’s, (a local bakery).  The Clubhouse Model is a proven evidence-based model accredited by Clubhouse International and used all over the world to provide greater quality of life, higher employment rates and improved relationships for club members as well as a greater sense of overall well-being. One Tempo Clubhouse member describes their experience like this: “At Tempo, I have people who support me with my recovery and encourage me to try new things. It has helped me build my confidence and skills to return to work. The staff and members of Tempo are like family to me.”

The event will highlight the success of the organization over the last 35 years with stories from members and family. CSG Welcomes Dr. Matthew A. Biever to Lancaster Outpatient Program

CSG’s Lancaster Outpatient Office is pleased to welcome Dr. Matthew Biever, D.O. to the MAPS Behavioral Health Program.  Dr. Biever is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and he will be providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management services  to adolescents and adults in the Lancaster community beginning August 27, 2018.  Dr. Biever completed his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine.  His training and early career experience helped to create solid foundations in providing individuals with comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management.  CSG is proud to welcome Dr. Biever to the outpatient team and to expand our ability to offer high quality services to residents of Lancaster County.

Matthew A. Biever, D.O.

Matthew A Biever, D.O. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, specializing in adolescent and adult psychiatry at MAPS Behavioral Health.  Dr. Biever completed his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine.  His training and early career experience helped to create solid foundations in providing individuals with comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management.  Dr. Biever has provided psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to adults and adolescents in various settings throughout his career, including private practice, residential and outpatient programs.  Dr. Biever pursues a pluralistic model of treatment and incorporates existential psychotherapy/philosophy into the treatment process.

CSG OUTPATIENT SERVICES INCREASE ACCESS TO PSYCHIATRY CARE IN LYCOMING AND CLINTON COUNTIES


CSG is pleased to announce the addition of a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to increase access to behavioral health services.  Robin Mansolino, CRNP will be providing psychiatric services at both the Williamsport and Mill Hall sites.  Robin will be providing medication management and psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults at both locations.
