Thomas Foley, M.D.

Thomas Foley, M.D. has been providing outpatient psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents ages 3-17 at MAPS Behavioral Health since 2016.  He also provides psychiatric services for adults on a case by case basis.  Dr. Foley completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, followed by his Psychiatry Residency at Temple University Hospital and then his Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Dr. Foley is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  He holds a Family Therapy Training Certification from the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center, Inc.  His professional experience includes providing psychiatric evaluations, consultations and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults in varied settings including psychiatric triage, medical units, inpatient/partial psychiatric units, schools and outpatient treatment.  Dr. Foley has been an Assistant Instructor for the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and has provided training and supervision for medical students, psychiatrists, primary care providers, nurses, interns and therapists.
