Stress Management for Caregivers

Care-giving can affect every aspect of your life including family, job, and physical health. Here are some suggestions for managing caregiver stress:

  • Set realistic goals and expectations for yourself
  • Establish your limits and set boundaries
  • Ask for help from others
  • Take care of yourself through exercise, diet, hobbies, and rest!
  • Sign up for Eldercare's ongoing support group, A Recipe for Caregivers

Remember, no one can manage care-giving responsibilities alone. Ask for and accept help from family members, friends and professionals.
